The Brussels Antifa groups took their ongoing intimidation campaign against the conservative think tank MCC Brussels up a notch on Wednesday, May 21st, when they attempted to shut down its latest panel discussion about why conservatives struggle to connect with women—especially the young—as a widening electoral gap emerges between male and female voters.
One would think that the ‘tolerant’ Left is eager to listen to women’s social and political experiences, but certainly not this crowd, as about a hundred protesters gathered around the venue, just a stone’s throw from the European Commission, to prevent them from expressing their opinions.
At first, they only tried to outshout the event happening inside, but then, they started harassing attendees who were trying to enter, assaulting an MCC staffer and a TV reporter, and relentlessly bombarding the entrance with dozens of eggs, which the poor hotel staff had to clean up later.
The riot police eventually had enough of their antics, blocked off the area, and dispersed the protesters with water cannons. However, they’d probably be sad to hear that those of us inside heard almost nothing of the commotion and only saw the aftermath of the ‘battle’ while the panel went ahead undisturbed.

The event featured four prominent thinkers, each with a different yet quite thought-provoking outlook on women’s role in conservative politics.
The first speaker was Alice Cordier, the president of Collectif Némésis, a French right-wing feminist organization that quickly became popular across Europe for daring to speak up about the dangers of mass Islamic immigration and trans ideology to women, even while facing constant persecution from the Left.
Cordier began by saying that she founded the organization because of the realization that left-wing feminism is utterly incapable of addressing these burning issues, but that doesn’t mean that most conservative parties do much better. Conservatives, she said, tend to deny realities that leftists exaggerate, such as domestic violence and social inequalities. They need to find a balance, and maybe then they can finally attract young female voters.
Birgit Kelle, a German author, publicist, and mother of four, began by stating that “conservatism fails to formulate a positive vision for women,” something that’s not just a rehashed copy of leftist talking points.
Left-wing feminism, Kelle said, is not liberating but “enslaving” women in the workplace, and does not elevate but “abolish” them as a logical consequence of the trans ideology going too far. It’s no surprise, given that feminism is an inherently Marxist-communist movement at its roots, she warned, which aggressively rejects motherhood and the difference between the two genders to push women into the labor market via social pressure, whether they want it or not. “So why would conservatives want to follow this route, only more slowly, instead of defining their own solutions and ideals for women?”

This new ideology denies the reality of womanhood and motherhood.

Polish journalist Aleksandra Rybinska echoed the argument about the freedom of choice, saying that when everything in society is designed to make you feel less accomplished if you choose family and children over Instagram and careers, then no woman is actually free to make a decision.
“The liberal view of women oscillates between a promotion of hedonism and a deadening nihilism,” Rybinska said, arguing that this worldview is the main reason why birthrates have collapsed. Studies have shown that Europe’s fertility crisis has little to do with the cost of living, and everything with women’s attitude to life, which has become an endless quest to collect experiences and avoid responsibility. Modern culture is to blame, as it demonizes motherhood but glorifies promiscuity, telling women they have lost in life if they give up an inch of independence to raise children.
And because humans are hard-wired to choose the ‘easy mode’ if possible, women vote for leftist parties and policies that reinforce this narrative and support their individualistic self-destruction. This will never change unless conservatives find a way to convince women that it’s actually against their interests to vote for the Left, Rybinska said.
Last but not least, female right-wing politicians were represented by Patriot MEP Barbara Bonte from the Flemish Vlaams Belang party, who approached each issue as a lawmaker. Yes, subsidies and tax breaks can incentivize young couples to have more children, but only to a certain extent, she said. Because the main obstacles are cultural: society doesn’t reward motherhood, but instead shames and ridicules it.
This is why the Right needs to be “revolutionary,” Bonte said, and start visibly rewarding women who prioritize family life. As concrete policy recommendations, she said family subsidies and major tax exemptions should be complemented with widespread social campaigns that recognize childcare as a “civic contribution,” giving mothers a similar or higher social status as accomplished career women.
Why are women not having children?

Because the attitude to life has changed. Today, life is said to be a collection of experiences. It has no meaning to it.
Also, in many cases women have left their male peers behind. The gender pay gap is reversing.@ARybinska pic.twitter.com/qU87TnWgz2
