The leftist establishment went into panic mode Thursday following news President Donald Trump plans to issue an executive order targeting major Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue, ultimately attempting to protect US elections from foreign influence.

“…President Donald Trump plans to sign a presidential memorandum on Thursday that he will cast as cracking down on foreign contributions in American elections, according to a person familiar with the policy and granted anonymity to discuss not-yet-public details,” Politico reported Thursday.

“The order is expected to specifically target ActBlue,” Politico wrote, noting Attorney General Pam Bondi would be instrumental in the order, but adding that “details about the mechanism she will use were not immediately available.”

Evidently receiving a heads-up in advance, ActBlue CEO and President Regina Wallace-Jones on Wednesday sent out an email to Democrats asking for donations saying they believed Trump would issue the EO on Wednesday afternoon – however, this was not the case.

“Nothing will deter or interrupt ActBlue’s mission and work to enable millions of Americans to participate in our democracy. There is an ongoing and persistent effort to weaken the confidence of the American people in what’s possible. This is the next version of ‘the big lie,’” Wallace-Jones wrote.

Earlier this month, the House Judiciary Committee, the Committee on House Administration, and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairmen Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Bryan Steil (R-Wis.), and James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a report detailing “Potential Illegal Activity on the Democrat Platform.”

“ActBlue’s internal turmoil, lack of a functioning legal team, possible retaliatory actions, and failure to take fraud seriously raise new questions about the platform’s ability to deter fraud and comply with federal election law,” the GOP congressmen wrote in a statement.

DOGE lead Elon Musk last month accused ActBlue of funding groups behind the protests against Tesla, which the media claimed were organic “grassroots” demonstrations.

In August, multiple state attorneys general also announced investigations into ActBlue accusing it of receiving fraudulent donations.

Citizen journalists in 2023 also took it upon themselves to look into ActBlue donations, uncovering hundreds of donations that appear to have been made without the knowledge of donors, which launched an O’Keefe Media Group investigation uncovering potential “MASSIVE money laundering into political campaigns.”

On Thursday, a new scandal unfolded as conservative commentator Matt Van Swol discovered sketchy ActBlue donations made on his behalf which he never made.

“Act Blue is guilty of widespread criminal identity theft,” Musk responded.
