President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan suggested leaders of sanctuary cities across America protecting illegal aliens from being deported by federal authorities may soon face prosecution.
On Thursday, a reporter asked, “Why not just arrest [sanctuary city] leaders who are harboring and shielding illegals from deportation?”
“Wait until you see what’s coming!” Homan responded, hinting at an aggressive crackdown on sanctuary cities defying federal immigration law.
Homan has previously vowed to “bring hell” to sanctuary cities, with the Trump administration aggressively pursuing its mass deportation agenda, deploying ICE raids, launching lawsuits, and cutting federal funding to towns that aid and abet illegal immigrants.
Homan also joined Fox News on Thursday, where he blasted Democrats for defending deported El Salvadoran MS-13 wife-beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Homan’s suggestion that sanctuary leaders could face repercussions takes on new meaning following the Justice Department’s arrests last month of a Democrat county judge in Wisconsin, who allegedly helped an illegal alien evade detainment by ICE federal agents following a hearing, and a Democrat judge in New Mexico who was sheltering an illegal at his home.
