A male suspect is facing a number of charges after he allegedly raped an underage girl on multiple occasions, including at least once inside a church in New York City, authorities say.
Shocking details about the case were made public by the New York Post on Saturday.
On Apr. 25, a 14-year-old girl told authorities she had been sexually attacked at least four times by a man she met at church.
“Angel Ramos, 23, was arrested May 2 and slapped with a slew of sex crime charges, including four counts of rape, after the victim told cops he raped her on April 16 inside of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in East Elmhurst,” the Post reported, citing NYPD sources.
Ramos, a resident of Jackson Heights, was also charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated sexual abuse.
He is apparently back on the streets after posting $50,000 bail.
