Super Bowl Champ: El Salvador Emerging as Ideal Penal Colony for US

Army Ranger and former U.S. Senate candidate believes President Trump must take “drastic action” to mitigate “scourge of illegal immigration”

“You can’t have a civil society when you have tens of million of illegal immigrants running around, when you have violent criminals roaming the streets, when you have homeless by the tens of thousands populating our cities," says Jake Bequette

The United States requires a destination where dangerous illegal aliens and criminals can be sent and held securely, far from the homeland and its citizens, according Super Bowl champion and Army Ranger Jake Bequette.

El Salvador has emerged as a viable model and partner for the U.S. as the Trump and Bukele administrations develop strong bonds and explore groundbreaking agreements that benefit both nations.

“I’ve been saying for years, publicly on X and privately, that America needs a penal colony, and everyone thought that was crazy until very recently,” Bequette told immigration news outlet Border Hawk in an interview.

“El Salvador has become an important part of this solution and this next iteration of where we are going in terms of immigration enforcement.”

Bequette, who closed out his football career and deployed to Iraq before running for U.S. Senate in 2022 and then joining venture capital firm New Founding, laid out his vision for making America safe again.

“You can’t have a civil society when you have tens of million of illegal immigrants running around, when you have violent criminals roaming the streets, when you have homeless by the tens of thousands populating our cities,” he said.

“That’s just not a sustainable situation or status quo. It’s a blight on a civil society. You can’t have a country when you have that element inside the population. It just won’t work.”

Bequette believes President Trump must take “drastic action” to mitigate the “scourge of illegal immigration” – even if it means carrying out high-profile deportations while live-streaming the process for the world to see.

“I think if Trump were to pull some kind of a stunt like I suggested, he would lose absolutely no support for doing that – he would probably gain support,” Bequette contended.

Americans are “sick and tired” of watching their sovereignty stolen, the fabric of society “utterly transformed,” and their hometowns overrun by illegal aliens and foreign workers, he asserted.

Paraphrasing a line from the 2007 film No Country for Old Men, Beguette asked, “If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?”

“I have no qualms with saying that we have to throw the whole baby out with the bathwater to change this.”
