Over 100,000 residents of the Emerald Isle traveled to the capital city of Dublin to take part in protests against the surge of illegal migrants invading the island nation.

Footage showed throngs of demonstrators lining the streets waving Irish flags, singing songs, and chanting, “Whose streets? Our Streets!”

One demonstrator was dressed as US President Donald Trump and waving an American flag, while others wore hats reading, “Make Ireland Great Again.”

Meanwhile, leftist counter-demonstrators held signs decrying the rally-goers as racists and nazis.

Ahead of the protests, superstar Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor, a pro-Trump nationalist who’s interested in running for the country’s presidency, released a video expressing solidarity with rally-goers, while noting the protests weren’t about promoting hate or division.

“Hello everyone in Ireland. April 26th, 2025 – A big day here for our country. An historic month for Ireland since 1916,” McGregor said.

“Over 100 years ago, our brave men and women made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live free today. So let us remind ourselves why we are here. And also why we are not here.

“We are not here to build hatred amongst each other. We are not here to sow division. We are here to commemorate the valiant heroes who went before us.

“We honour their spirit, we honour their fight. And we are here today to shine our light on the failure of Ireland’s government and our full disapproval of it.

“Be respectful, be proud, be united. Because together, we will be heard, and as one, we will be victorious in our mission. To those leading their march and speaking for the tens of thousands standing behind you: be calm, be clear.

“Speak with dignity – we want to hear your voice. Together we rise, together we win. God bless us all. God bless Ireland.”

McGregor recently visited the White House where he decried the wave of illegal migrants decimating his home country, saying, “What is going on in Ireland is a travesty. Our government is the government of zero action with zero accountability…The illegal immigration racket is running ravage on the country. There are rural towns in Ireland that have been overrun in one swoop. They have become a minority in one swoop.”

“Issues need to be addressed. And 40 million Irish Americans need to hear this, because if not, there will be no place to come home and visit.”

Joining Tucker Carlson last week, McGregor went as far as saying mass migration was essentially an “erasure of our people,” adding, “This is the genocide of our people.”

The Irish people appear to be waking up to McGregor’s message and are evidently committed to preserving their nation’s heritage and culture.
