President Donald Trump sat down for an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, countering numerous fake news narratives as he highlighted the successes of his administration in its first 100 days.

Trump started off by correcting Meet the Press host Kristen Welker’s comments that “prices are going up,” telling her, “This is such a dishonest interview already. Prices are down on groceries. Prices are down for oil. Prices are down for all energy. Prices are down at tremendous numbers for gasoline.”

Welker gave Trump an opportunity to tout the secure border, noting, “Border crossings are their lowest level EVER RECORDED.”

“When you say that doesn’t that just sound good?” Trump responded. “After being abused for years by an incompetent president…isn’t it a beautiful thing when you say it’s the most secure it’s ever been in the history of our country?”

At one point, Welker asked whether Trump would bring back El Salvadoran MS-13 gang banger Kilmar Abrego Garcia, or whether he would be afforded due process, to which Trump replied: “[The fifth amendment] might say that, but if you’re talking about that then we would have to have a million or two million or three million trials.”

“We have thousands of people that are some murderers and some drug dealers and some of the worst people on earth… some of the worst, most dangerous people on earth — and I was elected to get ’em the hell out of here and the courts are holding me from doing it.”

He went on to slam activist judges attempting to block his executive authority to deport illegal aliens, saying, “I think they’re trying to take away the power of the presidency.”

Trump bashed Democrats for being in total disarray, commenting the Party’s new star, Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (Texas), was “definitely a low-IQ person.”

Giving an update on the Russia-Ukraine peace deal currently being negotiated, Trump commented his ultimate goal is to save lives, “Look, 5,000 soldiers a week are dying. They’re not American soldiers, but I want to solve the problem. They’re Russian soldiers and they’re Ukrainian Soldiers, and if I can save 5,000 souls I just LOVE DOING IT.

The POTUS also commented on Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s recent electoral victory, saying Carney will visit the White House in the coming weeks, but that he doesn’t plan to stop campaigning for them to become the 51st state.

Discussing tariffs, Trump blasted Welker for focusing on businesses hurt by them, noting that auto manufacturers are benefiting and no companies would face tariffs if they produced in America.

Trump also had to explain to Welker how America’s trade war with China was actually saving taxpayers money.

“I really mean this, I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy,” the president later added.

Welker also tried to corner Trump on expenses for an upcoming “big, beautiful” military parade, which Trump said was “Peanuts compared to the value of doing it.”
