CNN aired an interview on Saturday where one of their journalists sat down with a masked member of Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel who hid his identity for security purposes.
British CNN contributor Isobel Yeung questioned the cartel member, who says he produces fentanyl for the gang, about President Donald Trump’s crackdown on Mexican drug cartels and designating them foreign terrorist organizations.

“According to the Trump Administration, you are a terrorist … What do you make of that?” she asked.
The disguised cartel member answered, “Well, the situation is ugly, but we have to eat.”
Yeung then said, “What’s your message to Donald Trump if he’s watching this?”
The Sinaloa fentanyl producer responded, “Respect. According to him, he’s looking out for his people. But, the problem is that the consumers are in the United States. If there weren’t any consumers, we would stop.”
Internet users blasted CNN for trying to bait the drug trafficker into bashing President Trump.
