Hundreds of foreign gang members were flown out of the U.S. to El Salvador where they will be held in a maximum security prison under a new agreement struck between the two countries.
On Sunday, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele announced that a plane carrying 238 members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua had just landed in his nation.
Additionally, 23 members of the gang MS-13 were brought to face justice in El Salvador, including two high-ranking ringleaders, Bukele said.
The hardened criminals were quickly transferred to CECOT, also known as the Terrorism Confinement Center, in Tecoluca.
Bukele shared stunning footage showing thugs being hustled out of the aircraft by heavily-armed soldiers and law enforcement officers.
Today, the first 238 members of the Venezuelan criminal organization, Tren de Aragua, arrived in our country. They were immediately transferred to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center, for a period of one year (renewable).

They were forcibly loaded into buses and armored vehicles and driven to CECOT where many had their heads and faces immediately shaved.
The gang members will be held at the prison for at least one year, but potentially longer if contracts are renewed.
“The United States will pay a very low fee for them, but a high one for us,” Bukele explained.
“Over time, these actions, combined with the production already being generated by more than 40,000 inmates engaged in various workshops and labor under the Zero Idleness program, will help make our prison system self-sustainable. As of today, it costs $200 million per year.”
CECOT was built in 2022 as Bukele launched a nationwide crackdown on criminal networks and gangs, including MS-13, which has been nearly obliterated.
“As always, we continue advancing in the fight against organized crime. But this time, we are also helping our allies, making our prison system self-sustainable, and obtaining vital intelligence to make our country an even safer place. All in a single action,” Bukele stated.
InfoWars frequently reports on the nefarious activities of Tren de Aragua within the U.S. and the surge of crime fueled by the Biden-Harris border invasion.
