Tren de Aragua Gangbanger Arrested After Making “Wrong Turn” at Canadian Border, Deported to El Salvador

A known member of Tren de Aragua (TdA) was apprehended while crossing the northern border after allegedly making a wrong turn – and was then deported to El Salvador, according to reports.

Ricardo Prada Vásquez, a 32-year-old Venezuelan national, was allegedly delivering food in Detroit on January 15 when he got lost and accidentally crossed the Ambassador Bridge into Ontario.

When Prada Vásquez attempted to re-enter the United States via the Detroit Windsor Tunnel, he was referred for secondary inspection by Customs and Border Protection.

“Further investigation resulted in Prada being designated a public safety threat as a confirmed member of TdA and in violation of his conditions of admission,” according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Prada Vásquez was transferred to custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and detained in Michigan.

On Feb. 27, a federal immigration judge ordered the Venezuelan deported, and on Mar. 15, he was flown to El Salvador under a new agreement that enables the U.S. to send criminal illegal aliens and known gang members to prison there.

Mainstream media is attempting, yet again, to accuse the Trump administration of indiscriminately ripping another innocent family man out of the U.S. while obfuscating his apparent ties to a ruthless transnational criminal network, but DHS is pushing back.

“FALSE” DHS wrote on social media in response to a New York Times headline claiming, “An Immigrant Held in U.S. Custody ‘Has Simply Disappeared.'”

Prada Vasquez entered the U.S. on Nov. 29, 2024, at the Brownsville Port of Entry via the now-defunct CBP One appointment program, which was utilized by nearly 1 million otherwise inadmissible aliens during the Biden era.

InfoWars frequently reports on the nefarious activities of Tren de Aragua, which the Trump administration recently designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
